Thanks for the reply but this is not the solution i was striving for.

You have applier simply pivot which i also could have done i need this to be sort out in combo box cell link sort of analysis (buttons) through which i can check status from month (x) to month (y).

Q1. This should be an array formula, so edit it and the do Ctrl+Shift+Return and you will get the correct answer.
Q2. I don't understand what you want.

This is what i was looking for (attached sheet) but still not convinced with applied formulation because still few manual intervention is required (eg. j:23 to p:42 i have applied sumif with concatenate).

Can you apply single formulation(in J ; 23 to P ; 42) which will pick figures automatically once we feed data in data shet of excel?

Plus in my formulation if i use month other than Sep. 09 in first button i am not getting current month in the column ("R "21,22).

Kindly check all the applied formulation and suggest if any changes required.

Hi Rajiv,

Sorry, i only saw your question now. Your tribulations are over.
Use the "Countif" command for your question 2. (See attached)
your question 1 can be solved using the pivot table analysis which u said u already know,
so i have not bothered about that.
