Goldman Sach's Abacus Pitchbook

Read Goldman Sachs’ pitch book for ABACUS here. ABACUS is the synthetic collateralized debt obligation (CDO) that the SEC is using as basis to sue Goldman Sachs. The SEC says that Goldman structured and marketed ABACUS premised on the performance of subprime residential mortgage-backed securities, and alleges that Goldman did not tell investors “vital information” about ABACUS.

A copy of the Abacus pitchbook in PDF is also attached for your ease of reference.

One of the worst offenses to me was that Goldman convinced banks and others to buy this security and then bet against them that it would fail. I think that would be the last call I would ever take from a Goldman broker or investment banker.
Personally This is the last straw. However I do not think government will beat them down. In the end this is the life line of the economy.
