Research on "Performance of Forex in a bear equity markets"

Please guide me, I am interested in doing a research on the topic "Performance of Forex in a bear equity markets" (Especially USD/INR). I would like to build a regression model and bring out the trend of forex using the empirical study on previous bear markets. I would need the guidance in which factors exactly to consider in the regression model and in what time frame.

Apart from this, would there be any suggestions and feedbacks on topic, this would be of great help.
