Can I encourage people to try the template in their work please... and give us the feedback!!!! Things that are really helpful to know are:

1. What Risk free rate you use and why
2. What Rm- Rf (ERP) equity risk premium you like and why
3. Where you source industry risk and why

It is also really useful to know what is different in your part of the world....Mumbai? How is it riskier / the same / better / worse.... New York? Africa.... oh boy... help us here. what values make sense, where do we start, how do these values differ across the vast continent.....

In a wide world, with massive differences any data you have is important. This is a good place to share it...

I can start... here in KL Malaysia at present working... energy subsidies are an issue. They drive down short term risk but - it has to be - they drive up long term risk in gas, electricity, petrol..... long run I would add 150 basis points for when they disappear. There is, then, one opinion.
