Hi! Please call me by my nickname, Yang. I'm glad to hear about your interest in studying in the Philippines. Back in my junior year in college I remember seeing many Kenyans in my school, University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman campus. They came here to study for a year or so.

I'm guessing you are into finance and/or accounting. UP Diliman has an enviable set of professors in this field. Most of the teachers are practicing accountants and finance specialists so you'll really learn a lot from them. UP is the premier university in the country and this is where I earned my bachelor's degree in economics.

You may also want to check the programs in Asian Institute of Management (AIM), based in Makati City, Philippines. It's a top-notch school for business management and finance. Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), whose campus is close to UP Diliman, is also a good school for finance and accounting.

Anywhere you study in the Philippines you'll meet exchange students and visiting foreigners from all over the world. In UP, I've had classmates and made friends with students from Japan, Korea, France, India and USA, among many others you'll see around campus.

I'm posting the websites below for you to visit.

UP: http://www.up.edu.ph/
AIM: http://www.aim.edu.ph/
ADMU: http://www.admu.edu.ph/

Hope this helped. Have a great day!
